Simple Still-life
This image is textured with Kim Klassen's Waterfront7 and Pumpkingrung textures.
I'm joining Texture Tuesday and BeStill52 photo class today. The backgrounds are an assortment of woods, fabrics, and paper.
A simple still-life with a variety of different backgrounds
I hope your day is awesome!
Be Wonderfully Odd!
Oh my gosh!!! Sheila these are all simply gorgeous...each one. You really excelled at all the different backgrounds. What a beautiful collection - and a fine art series!!

ReplyDeleteSo absolutely gorgeous - that lovely focus and blur is perfection! I love tiny flowers from above - just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots and i love all the backgrounds you choose !!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Sheila these images are gorgeous! Love the from above perspective, the vase and flowers. They all work so well together. The top one is my favorite, it belongs in a frame. :)

ReplyDeleteThey all work so well, beautiful !
ReplyDeleteI really like them all, but I keep going back to shot with bricks - love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila! Stopping by from Kim's TT, but I'm also in her Be Still class. Loving the simplicity of this composition. I think I like the last one best...something about the color contrast and the way the wood tone kind of matches the color of some of the stems.
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely
ReplyDeleteI continue to find it amazing how much changing the backgrounds can alter feeling and look of a photograph. All of these are beautiful and I really like the perspective....

ReplyDeleteThese are all truly beautiful! My favorite is the last one. That background intrigues me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great practice in backgrounds! I love them all, but I think I like the first one and the one with words the best!
ReplyDeleteSheila, I adore your closing, Be wonderfully odd! That simple closing speaks volumes about the respect you have for each individual and their unique and sometimes quirky qualities. It makes you approachable - and that is the basis for friendship. Thank you! I've enjoyed viewing your photos with different backgrounds. One of the best aspects of this assignment from Kim, is that it begins to ingrain in us an easy sense of which background will look good or serve our vision for a photograph. Every view has it's positives, but first and last are my very favorites. Love the simple and elegant view!
ReplyDeleteEach one is so pretty!! You picked great backgrounds!
ReplyDeleteOooh! They're all so beautiful! I think my favourite is the first one.
