I love the golden patina in the bowl of the ladle below and the worn edges of this serving spoon. I also love the softness, and frayed edges, of the creamy white cheesecloth.
I used two of Kim Klassen's textures on the photo above - "Just a Touch" and "Pinit 8".
I hope that you have a great day!
Be Wonderfully Odd!
Oh the spoon is just gorgeous - shape, patina and designs! LOVE your collection of your special spoon, so beautifully done Sheila!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect combination of vintage: antique spoon, cheesecloth, blueberries. Beautiful work, here, Sheila! Any of these would look wonderful hanging in your home.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your spoon shots are just fabulous! Well come.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots I so love how you processed them
ReplyDeleteYour photos are all wonderful, Sheila !And that antique spoon is gorgeous !Have a nice evening,Sylvia
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. So soft and ethereal!
ReplyDeletesimply lovely. My Grandmother gave me some of her mismatched silver before she moved into a nursing home many years ago. I love it still and one of my favorite things about it is that the few pieces that I have are odd.
ReplyDeleteWhat beauties, all of them, the close ups really show the rich patina. You have really done some gorgeous work Sheila and agree would be beautiful hanging on anyone's wall.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love the antique spoon! Your photography, with the blueberries and the cheesecloth -- so elegant. I used to have a spoon collection that's long gone, but I do still have a pewter spoon. You've inspired me to dig it out and enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are absolutely gorgeous and I love your spoon. All so beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. Wonmderful compositions. The colors are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it when a photo comes together just perfectly? Looks like that's what happened here. You really found your sweet spot with the subject, composition, and editing all converging to create a great picture story. The blueberries are a sweet and simple addition . . . absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!! This is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so far behind on Be Still - I'm trying not to look at anyone's spoon photos, but by the time I get to week 10 (I'm on 4!), I will have forgotten them anyway! I hope mine is half as gorgeous as yours!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutley grogeous!
ReplyDeleteThese are all stunning. I can see you're learning a lot in Kim's classes.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, Sheila ... these are fabulous! The blueberries add such a special dimension, as well! First time visiting here from Kim's linkup ... have an awesome day! :)
