Spring Baby

Last winter I posted a picture of my favorite squirrel - I only notice her because she lost her tail sometime ago - click here to see her picture.

Yesterday I noticed two little baby squirrels sitting outside of her nest - peeking out over the edge. One of them crawled out and sat on a nearby branch.

So tiny - not much larger than the leaf.

The image above has two layers of Kim Klassen's "Isobel" texture.

I hope that you have a great day!

Summertime - Peony

I love peonies - the hand-sized bloom heavy with layers of delicate petals and a sweet subtle fragrance.

Right now I have a table full of these beauties.  A couple of days ago I raced out and clipped as many of them as I could before a storm blew through.  These heavy blooms on thin stems don't fair well in any kind of windy weather!

I'm joining Texture Tuesday today - I used one layer of Kim Klassen's "Waterfront7" on this image.

Enjoy your day!

Nature

I'm joining Texture Tuesday with a little rabbit love <3

I love spotting the sweet rabbits that visit our back yard and snapping a photo of them as they stop to nibble a bit of clover.

I used one layer of Kim Klassen's "Sanded" texture on these images.

I hope that you are having a great day!
